Welcome to some grasses of Thailand

The grass family (Poaceae) are mostly herbs comprising one of largest flowering plants families, includes 11,313 accepted species, 713 genera, and 64,223 published names at species rank or below.[1]

Subtribe Andropogoninae and Anthistiriinae belong to the tribe Andropogoneae, subfamily Panicoideae, contain 18 genera which include 360 species or more. Both subtribe are mainly found in the tropical region.[2]
